Sarah Ernst-Edwards
Sarah’s career in movement and massage therapy stems from her work as a musician. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music from Smith College, where she began studying the Alexander Technique to improve her piano performance.
Sarah pursued her initial massage training at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA, and then continued on to certify in NeuroMuscular Therapy - American Version, Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Manual Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy through Myopain Seminars, Orthopedic Massage with Whitney Lowe, Clinical Rehabilitative Massage and Pre-Natal Massage with Kate Jordan. She has also studied Active Isolated Stretching with Ben Benjamin. Most recently she has added massage cupping and IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Manipulation) to her techniques using the FAKTR tools and methodology.
Sarah and Lisa are the instructors of the Manual Trigger Point Therapy seminar series at Myopain Seminars offered in locations across the country.
A long-time student of yoga, Sarah completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Down Under Yoga in Brookline in 2016. Sarah has volunteered at the Pan Mass Challenge for over 10 years and is an active volunteer with the Mass Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the National Association of Trigger Point Therapists (NAMTPT) organizations.
Outside of the clinic, Sarah enjoys playing music, cooking something new, hiking, and generally being outside exploring this wide world we live in.
